Chandler Family Farm: Green Lettuce, Swiss Chard, Butternut Squash and Fresh cut Flower Bouquets.
We hope you enjoyed the treats this week. Summer is here, its hot and the gardens are still thriving. If you are looking for extra heirloom tomatoes Gopher Knoll is loaded with them. Or Highway 19 has an abundance of cherries or slicing tomatoes. Okra is coming and hopefully some more melons soon.

In the gardens we are cleaning our the old and bringing in a fresh round of plantings. Now that the rain has slowed we can get a handle on weeds and really get back to work. I hope you are enjoying the produce that is coming in your box. I apologize for not having a weekly info sheet, some week are just busier than others and I do not get much computer time in. So many good things coming soon!

From Chandler Family Farm: Basil (Genovese & Sweet Thai), Red Russian Kale (large), Mustard greens , and Broccoli (small)
As we inch into summer, we look forward to peppers and melons! Slicing tomatoes will be coming shortly, just waiting on some sunshine to ripen those big ones. We would love to hear feedback from you! What has been your favorite? Are you cooking more? If you could order extras from the farmers, would you? Let us know, send us recipes or pictures of dinner made with the box contents.
